USBC is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Bowling and a 501c3, non-profit organization. Certifying your League with USBC Helps preserve and grow the sport of bowling for future generations.
What USBC does for you and bowling?
- Award Members: USBC certifies its members’ averages and recognizes their wins. From a fun
magnet for a personal best to a commemorative ring for a 300 game, USBC awards everyone.
- Standardize Rules: USBC makes the rules so you don’t have to , and we are working to make them
easy for every member to understand so everyone can have more fun on the lanes.
- Support the Good of Bowling: From certifying the lanes to making sure the pins are weighted correctly
and your bowling ball is approved, your USBC dues go to support the sport and keep it fair!
- USBC Member Rewards: USBC members get special money-saving offers throughout the year. For
example, members receive 12% off T-Mobile phone bills, a $10.00 rebate on USBC membership
and 2% cash back on bowling purchases with the new USBC credit card, discounts on car rentals
and savings on hundreds of other items you purchase every day.
- Grow Youth Bowling: USBC programs teach kids the fundamentals of bowling and provide them
competitive opportunities at a varsity level. USBC also supports the SMART (scholarship) program
which awards more than $8 million dollars in scholarships to Youth Bowlers annually.

year. From local and state tournaments to the national Open and Women’s Championships, there
